Tottenham Hotspur could look to sign Barcelona winger Raphinha ahead of next season.

The North London club are looking at ways to reinforce their attack in the upcoming transfer window. Former Leeds United star Raphinha has been on their radar for a while now and according to a report from TBR Football, Spurs have been offered the chance to sign the Brazilian international in the summer.

Raphinha has been a consistent performer for Barcelona since joining them in the summer of 2022 from Leed United. While the Catalan giants haven’t had the best season this time around, the winger has put in some exceptional performances. He has been involved in 35 matches and has contributed towards 21 goals (9 goals, 12 assists) in under 1,800 minutes of first-team football.

Despite his form and the fact that his contract runs until the summer of 2027, the Spanish giants are ready to sanction his departure. Their financial struggles are far from over and to make the necessary changes to their squad, they need to first raise funds by offloading players.

Raphinha is someone who has attracted a lot of interest and according to the report, intermediaries have informed interested Premier League clubs that the 27-year-old could be on the move in the summer. Having signed him for £50 million, the Catalan giants are looking to make a profit. If they receive a significant amount, they will look to cash in on him.

Tottenham do have a number of options on the right flank but Ange Postecoglou seeks more firepower and the Brazilian international’s arrival will improve them going forward.

Spurs are expected to make multiple signings in the summer and it won’t be a surprise to see them push for Raphinha’s signature given that they have been interested in him for a while now. However, they will have to compete with other top clubs to sign the Barcelona ace in the summer.
